Exploring Sizes for the Perfect Scrub
Welcome back readers! Last week I discussed what I’ve been working on with Avi Body Care and the challenges of developing my product line. As I mentioned last week, the product manufacturers and I decided to send me different sizes of pumice to determine which one(s) I wanted to incorporate into my scrub. After a week, I received the different grades of pumice and the experimenting began.
At first glance, all 3 samples of pumice look exactly the same. It wasn't until I tried some on my hand that I was able to differentiate between the three. I was a little nervous to mix the pumice into the scrub because I didn't want to put too much of the pumice in, so I decided it would be best to take it by the teaspoon until I mixed it into one of the batches of the pre-made scrub.
Voila! 3 samples mixed and after testing, one I absolutely loved! It’s gritty, gentle, and moisturizing at the same time. I’m in love!
I am currently waiting for the arrival of the new mixture I tested in order to seal the deal. This process will take another 2 weeks if done on time.
I’ve enjoyed the process of conducting what has felt like my own science experiment much more than I anticipated. It's helped bring me closer to the process and has made me extremely confident in my decision of bringing my vision to life.
